Conditions Générales d’Utilisation

1. Purpose

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the website stepio.app and the associated SaaS application (the “Service”), published by AB Solutions LLC, a company incorporated under the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA, with its registered office at 1209 MOUNTAIN ROAD PL NE STE N, Albuquerque, NM 87110, United States.

The Service is provided from the United States. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms in full.

2. Access to the Service

Access requires creating a user account on stepio.app. You agree to:

  • provide accurate registration information (name, email, password);
  • keep your credentials confidential; and
  • not share your account with third parties.

The Service is reserved for individuals aged 16+. Use by a minor under 18 requires the prior consent of a legal guardian.

AB Solutions LLC reserves the right to suspend or delete without notice any account in case of non-payment, fraud, or material breach of these Terms, and to permanently close any account in case of fraud, misuse, or unlawful activity.

3. Acceptable Use

The Service enables users to:

  • scrape public data from Shopify and WordPress/WooCommerce sites;
  • generate content (product pages, collection pages, blog posts) using AI (OpenAI API);
  • connect a Shopify or WooCommerce store to publish or modify products via API.

You agree to:

  • use the Service only for lawful, reasonable, and authorized purposes;
  • not bypass security measures or generate excessive request volumes;
  • not scrape sites without authorization or process copyright-protected data;
  • not use the Service to analyze, copy, or reproduce its features in order to build a competing product (reverse engineering is prohibited);
  • not generate, import, or disseminate illegal content (violent, defamatory, discriminatory, racist, pornographic, etc.).

Unapproved integrations: Any use of the Service via an unauthorized integration or API is strictly forbidden and may lead to immediate suspension.

Some features may be released in beta/test. These are provided “as is”, without warranty, and may be changed or removed without notice.

Stepio is designed to simplify e-commerce content creation and management. Our goal is to help users save time while respecting web best practices.

4. Shopify / WooCommerce API Connections

When connecting a store, the user explicitly selects the permissions granted (products, collections, blog posts, general analytics). The Service does not collect customers’ PII (names, emails, detailed orders). API keys and tokens are encrypted at rest and stored securely; they are deleted within 90 days after account deletion.

The user remains fully responsible for actions taken on their connected store via Stepio.

5. Scraping & AI-Generated Content

The tool extracts information publicly accessible on the internet. The user is solely responsible for verifying that data is public and lawfully accessible and for complying with third-party site terms.

AI-generated content is produced automatically from user instructions and may contain errors, biases, or inaccuracies. Users must review content prior to publication. AB Solutions LLC does not warrant accuracy, relevance, or legal compliance of generated content; users are solely responsible for what they publish.

The user warrants that extracted data contains no personal information. In case of non-compliance, AB Solutions LLC acts as a mere hosting provider and shall not be deemed responsible for processing such data.

Stepio may analyze aggregated and anonymized prompts and results to improve the Service, without any personal data.

AI-generated outputs are provided for assistance only. Stepio performs no automated decision-making producing legal effects on users.

6. Plans, Subscriptions & Credits

Access is available via a monthly, no-commitment subscription granting a number of credits, with the option to purchase one-off extra credits. Unused credits roll over while the subscription remains active.

Billing is handled by Stripe. Applicable VAT is automatically calculated by Stripe Tax based on user location. Prices are displayed TTC in EUR.

Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

Under Directive 2011/83/EU, consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal from subscription. By accessing the digital service immediately, the user expressly consents to waive this right once execution has begun.

Refund Policy

Any withdrawal or refund request can be sent to contact@stepio.app. Refunds are handled according to the policy detailed at: https://stepio.app/refund.

The agreement is entered into for an indefinite term and ends upon subscription or account termination.

7. Termination & Account Deletion

Users may cancel their subscription at any time from their account area; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Upon account deletion: personal data is deleted or anonymized within 90 days; API keys are permanently deleted; accounts inactive for more than 24 months may be removed after prior notice.

Before deletion, users may request a copy of their data (generated content, settings, etc.) by emailing contact@stepio.app. Certain technical data, logs, or billing information may be retained temporarily for legal or security reasons. Logs are anonymized and kept for a maximum of 12 months.

8. Liability

Service Level: AB Solutions LLC endeavors to provide 99% uptime, excluding planned maintenance; uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed.

AB Solutions LLC shall not be liable for: temporary outages; data loss attributable to the user; unlawful or abusive use; indirect damages (e.g., lost revenue, reputation); or unavailability caused by third-party providers (OpenAI, Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, Cloudinary, Cloudflare, etc.).

The Service is provided “as is”, without warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. AB Solutions LLC does not guarantee any commercial results, search rankings, or sales increases.

Liability Cap

Total liability of AB Solutions LLC, for any and all claims, is limited to the total amount paid by the user in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to liability.

Force Majeure

AB Solutions LLC shall not be liable for failures due to force majeure or events reasonably beyond its control (e.g., disasters, cyberattacks, war, governmental actions).

9. Intellectual Property

All elements of the Service (interface, code, database, design, logo, trademark) are protected by copyright and related laws. Any reproduction, adaptation, or distribution without authorization is prohibited.

AI-generated content belongs to the user, subject to third-party rights compliance. Use of the Service grants no exclusivity; AB Solutions LLC may partner or integrate with other parties at its sole discretion.

10. Personal Data

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at: https://stepio.app/privacy. In case of a personal data breach, users will be notified within a reasonable time in accordance with GDPR.

11. Indemnification & Takedown

The user agrees to indemnify and hold harmless AB Solutions LLC, its officers, employees, and partners, from any claim, loss, damage, cost, or liability arising from unlawful use of the Service, breach of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

Anyone believing that content generated via Stepio infringes their rights may request removal by contacting contact@stepio.app, in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

12. Electronic Communications

By using the Service, you agree to receive emails necessary to operate the Service (notifications, invoices, updates, legal notices) and information regarding changes to these Terms or the Service.

13. Changes, Suspension & End of Service

AB Solutions LLC may modify the Service, features, pricing, and these Terms at any time. Subscribers will be informed of pricing changes at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

AB Solutions LLC may also terminate all or part of the Service for technical, economic, or strategic reasons with 30 days’ prior notice by email to affected users.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA. EU consumers remain protected by the mandatory laws of their country of residence.

Any action brought by a professional user established in the European Union shall be submitted to the courts of Paris, France. In case of discrepancy between the French and English versions of these Terms, the English version prevails. Unless otherwise required by law, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts at the registered office of AB Solutions LLC.

15. Final Provisions

This user agreement is concluded for an indefinite duration. AB Solutions LLC may assign or transfer all or part of its rights and obligations under these Terms to any affiliate or successor as part of a merger, acquisition, or business transfer.

In case of inconsistency between these Terms, the Terms of Sale (CGV), and any other applicable document, the following hierarchy applies: Terms of Sale (CGV) > these Terms of Use.

These Terms supersede any prior version.
